The 7th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Haritha Diyatha Environment Organization was held on the 29th of December, 2013 at the National Aryurvedic Research Garden premises in HALDUMMULLA. The members who attended the AGM took part in two bird-watching sessions on the 28th & 29th. A special spiritual discussion on "Inward Peace & Happiness" was conducted by members Piyasiri Ellewela & Asanka Sanjeewa Piyasena, on the 28th evening. It was followed by a slideshow of the past Haritha Diyatha activities. The members also watched an environmental documentary, and ended the evening by singing some songs.
Mr. Anura Bandara of Sepra Natural products & Mr. Tissa Bandara introduced some of their Eco-friendly products and sheared some of their views about how to re-introduce ancient herbals into this modern day. Prof. Piyal Marasinghe, the officer-in-charge of the Haldummulla Aryuvedic gardens was offered an honorary membership of Haritha Diyatha at this AGM.
