Visited Binganthalawa, and climbed the Darapanahela mountain range. Crossed over to Harasbedda, and returned back to Binganthalawa. Visited an archaeological site, believed to be ruins of a old palace complex. This area is believed to be one site that king Rawana landed his Air-craft; the 'Dandumonaraya' (in about 2500 A.D.). The Ragala rock(peak), in the Darapanahela range is said to be named after king Rawana. (Rawana + aa+ gala = the rock Rawana used to come).
